Last month Getting Clean had the pleasure of being part of the Leeds International Festival of Ideas 2024!
Chris was invited to speak alongside Lauren Windle, Marverine Cole, Claire Rimmer, Matt Willis and Taylor Little, as part of the discussion panel ‘How do we talk about addiction?’ Chris spoke passionately about his lived experience, challenging stigma and spread a message of hope.
“Being part of an expert panel covering the topic of addiction and how we speak about it has really brought home the significance of my journey and where I am actually at. With the greatest humility and a day of processing and reflection I’m blown away.” Chris Sylvester
And in true Getting Clean style, we had several members attend LIFI24 to show Chris support, as well as sell some life changing, crime preventing Soap with Hope!
