What a Difference a Day Makes

Conservation programmes give our members a sense of purpose and environmentalism is core to the ethos of Getting Clean. We see conservation clean-up work as an opportunity to give back to the community and support one another. We believe that cleaning our streets helps us to get clean and keep clean too!

After a recent conservation clean-up project, we received some fantastic feedback from a local resident.

I would like to thank Chris, Richard and the team at Getting Clean for clearing and cutting back the overgrown trees and vegetation on Royal Grove today. The work they have done has made a massive improvement to the area already and it feels so more open.

All residents in the area have felt unsafe and scared when using this walkway. It was making residents depressed looking out onto the mess.

Carrying out this work it has made a huge amount of difference to residents in the area who now feel safer. The team have gone above and beyond and have been professional throughout the day. The work they have done has made a closed in area feel so open again.

I can’t thank them enough for doing this work and really appreciate all the effort everyone has made. They have made this project a great success. As a local resident I am extremely happy with the work done by Getting Clean.
